Week 3 - A splash of color.

For my 3rd week I chose Color and I'm really pleased with how they came out. I did close ups of objects around my house that were colorful. I decided to edit some of the photos to bring out the color abit more, and make them more vivid. I really really hope you enjoy my photos as much as I do.


These 2 pictures are of my pencil pot, I like the funny angles that I captured them In. If you view the Image larger, Click Here you can see the fine details of the pens and pencils, even down to the dust.





These 2 were of all my nail varnishes. I think they make a good splash of color. The top one I just put them In random places and took It at an interesting angle but the bottom one I lined them up uni formally but I also cropped this one so It was just the bottles and a bit of the tops, then I edited It to show off the colors.





This pair of my curly straws were very pleasing to the eye, not only for the color but also the crazy shapes of them. I cropped the top one completely to get a close up of just the straight part and the bottom one to get just the curly parts but I also edited this one lots and changed the contrast so the colors were very vibrant and different from each other. I loved working with color the most.




This Is my very big, extravagant ring, the ring Itself Isn't very colorful, but when I took It and the light from the flash hit the jewels It brought out colors that I didn't realise were In them. I cropped this picture so you could see the colors In detail, but to really see the beauty of this picture you need to enlarge It, here Is the Link to do that. This one turned out a lot better than I thought It would as there were more colors than to be expected.


This Is a bracelet and an old necklace of mine. The flash has really brought out the colors In the bracelet and the scratches on the pendant. even though the top half of the photo Is very colourful but the bottom half Isn't, I enjoy how the the stones In the bracelet reflect color and shape onto the face of the pendant bring color over to the bottom half an balancing It out.


Fruit never disappoints with Its color. Over the years I have taken a lot of photographs of fruit and vegetables because of their color,I have used It a lot In my art at school. These strawberries were what gave me the Inspiration for my color shoot, I opened the fridge and the color hit me straight away so I started talking some photos of them, then I decided to go round + search for everyday objects around my room that people seem to overlook. There are only 2 main colors but the detail Is amazing!
